On December 5, 2025, at approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to a domestic violence incident in the 700 block of Janetwood Drive in Oxnard.
The victim reported that her boyfriend, Mark Knauer, a 26-year-old, Desert Hot Springs, had struck her and was armed with a firearm concealed in his waistband. Knauer fled the scene before the officers arrived.
An officer later stopped Knauer in his vehicle at the intersection of Kentwood Drive and F Street.
During the investigation, officers found a firearm in the vehicle. As a result, Knauer was arrested for non-injury domestic battery and multiple firearms violations.
