The Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula has launched Farm to Market where children and families can identify healthy food choices in a market-like atmosphere.

The Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula has launched an interactive exhibit called the Farm to Market, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles through role-play. The exhibit is an immersive environment where children and families can identify healthy food choices in a market-like atmosphere.

The Museum of Ventura County Agriculture Museum or Ag Museum is located in the historic Mill building built in 1888 in downtown Santa Paula, California. It houses a vast collection of tractors, farming implements, and interactive activity stations that help visitors of all ages understand the importance of agriculture in Ventura County and around the world.

This exhibit gives visitors the opportunity to explore the different sections of the market and offers a hands-on experience that allows guests to engage with the food items, read labels, and learn about their nutritional value.

The Farm to Market exhibit is not only fun, but it also promotes healthy eating habits. By identifying healthy food choices in a market-like environment, visitors learn to make better food choices in their daily lives.

The exhibit has been designed to promote healthy eating habits and inspire visitors to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. The Farm to Market encourages visitors to choose fresh, local produce over processed and packaged foods, highlighting the benefits of eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

The Ag Museum is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting the region’s farming and ranching history. Ventura County’s distinct climate and geography, along with the ingenuity and industriousness of its people, have innovated and shaped the agriculture industry in the Central Coast region. The Ag Museum explores the present and future of the industry.

The Ag Museum is open Thursday through Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. Admission is free and free parking is available adjacent to the museum.

Special thanks to Santa Paula’s Former Mayor Carlos Juarez for volunteering his time and talent in building the fun-filled indoor market.
