On Monday, January 5, 2026, Oxnard Adult School was pleased to announce a generous donation of personal hygiene products for its Health Center from the international nonprofit organization WeLoveU Foundation. This contribution will support adult learners by ensuring they have access to essential personal care items, fostering a healthier and more supportive learning environment.
“We are incredibly grateful to the WeLoveU Foundation for their thoughtful donation, the items donated will make a big difference to our students,” said Eric Saavedra, Principal of Oxnard Adult School. “This generous donation directly supports our adult learners, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals and help us in our mission to serve our community.”
“I am very happy to be here and to take part in this important event for the betterment of our community. These students are a very important part of our community and they will be better as well their families with a better education and the support of organization like the WeLoveU Foundation,” said Oxnard Mayor Luis A. Mc Arthur during the event.
The donation was made possible through the efforts of Jenny Cardona, Oxnard Adult School’s Career Technical Education Coordinator and an active member of the WeLoveU Foundation. Recognizing the needs of the school community, Ms. Cardona helped establish the connection that led to this meaningful contribution.
Reflecting on her role in facilitating the donation, Ms. Cardona shared, “The WeLoveU Foundation, a global nonprofit focused on unity and service, has received over 100 awards, including the U.S. President’s Call to Service Award and the Vicente Rocafuerte Award”.
