The Oxnard Police Department Mounted Unit and their Foundation thanked everyone who attended and contributed to the success of their second Mounted Unit Fundraiser, held last Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Magnavino Cellars in Oxnard. The overwhelming support from the community, local businesses, and sponsors was obvious since the event venue was totally full.
The event brought together residents, officers, and supporters on a shared mission to strengthen community support with their police department. The Oxnard Police Department Mounted Unit plays a crucial role in patrolling large events and participate in community engagement events. The generous donations will directly contribute to the care and training of their horses and the continued development of this invaluable program.
“I am really happy to be here and support the great work that our Oxnard Police Department does in our City,” said Oxnard mayor Luis A. Mc Arthur.
“We are grateful to the dedicated volunteers, event organizers, and sponsors who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. We also want to thank our special guests and performers for making the evening memorable,” said commander Miguel Serrato.
The support not only helps the Mounted Unit maintain its operations but also highlights the unity between the police force and the community they serve. “Together, we are building a safer and stronger Oxnard,” Said Serrato.
“We look forward to seeing you at future events and continuing to build this vital part of our department. For those who were unable to attend but would still like to support, donations can be made through our website at oxnardmountedunitfoundation.org” said Serrato
