A benefit for at-promise Youth & Families
City Impact, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving at-promise youth and families in Ventura County since 1995, proudly announces its 15th Annual Beachfront Run. This signature fundraising event takes place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, along the Ventura Promenade, beginning at 7:00 AM. All proceeds will directly support City Impact’s educational and counseling programs for vulnerable youth throughout Ventura County.
“The Beachfront Run represents both our commitment to community wellness and our mission to provide critical support services to those who need them most,” said Cynthia Torres, LMFT, Executive Director of City Impact. “The Beach Front Run is more than just an event– it’s a celebration of what we can accomplish together as a community.”
City Impact delivers targeted, clinically-informed solutions tailored to the specific challenges faced by Hispanic adolescents in Oxnard’s public schools—providing critical resources, counseling, and mentorship to support this underserved and at-risk population.
The run welcomes participants of all ages, offering various race categories including a 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run. Beyond racing, attendees can enjoy a vibrant community festival featuring local vendors, music, and family-friendly activities.
Participation options include individual and team race registration, volunteer positions for event day support, and sponsorship opportunities at various levels.
