The Rebozo Festival is a benefit event established to raise funds for Ventura County non-profit charitable organizations focusing on the cultural, social and educational needs of the community. This unique cultural event promotes the rich heritage of our area by highlighting the colorful Mexican rebozo (shawl) as our theme.

The Rebozo Festival will take place on Sunday May 18, at the Camarillo Ranch House in Camarilo from 11 am to 5 pm.

This year we celebrate the 21st Year Anniversary that began with a dream and dedication of community leader Irma J. Lopez. She was soon joined with other county women leaders to create the Rebozo Festival to benefit our county nonprofit.

Recipients of funding this year are: Nyeland Promise, United Parents, Buen Vecino and the OPAC-Oxnard Performing Arts Center.

Music will be provided by Mariachi Aguilas de J. Carlos Ozuna, special presentation by Stephanie Amaro and to dance La Gran Sonora de Colombia.

“Come and join us for great food, music, dancing and support our community non-profits. The celebration begins at 11:00am- 5:00 pm,” said Irma Lopez.

“Tickets are $90.00 a person and can be purchased online at rebozofestival.org. Other ticket locations can be found on this website,” said Lopez.
