The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is proud to announce the upcoming Veterans Recognition Luncheon, scheduled to take place on April 26, 2024 at Zachari Dunes Hotel 2101 Mandalay Beach Road, Oxnard, Ca. This event aims to honor the brave men and women active duty and veterans who have served our nation with unwavering dedication and sacrifice. The event is complementary for all veterans and active duty members, cost for non-veterans is $60. All Attendees must RSVP by April 20, 2024.

The event speakers include Christopher Diaz, Navy Chief of Staff and Roman Palomares, LULAC Chair, National LULAC Veterans & Military Affairs with special guest John Aldridge, California State American Legion Commander, and Deborah Johnson, California State Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Senior Vice Commander. The theme of this year’s luncheon is Saluting Service: Empowering Veterans and Strengthening Communities centers around recognizing and supporting our veterans, including those who have faced unique challenges upon their return home. Among them are the deported veterans, individuals who have selflessly served our nation but now find themselves in a complex and often unjust situation.


Veterans and active-duty personnel are cordially invited to attend this complementary luncheon as a gesture of our gratitude for their service.
