The Annual Cesar Chavez March Committee proudly celebrated “A Day of Service” this past Saturday, March 31 in Oxnard with a march that started at the Cesar Chavez Statue Bust at 200 N Juanita Ave in La Colonia and ended at the Colonia Memorial Park Veterans Gymnasium at 195 N Marquita St. in La Colonia.



The march honored the legacy of Cesar Chavez, farm workers, and Dolores Huerta, and more. The march was to honor the farm workers leader. Hundreds of residents join the march to honor the farm worker leader that lived near by in La Colonia himself.



The celebration was sponsored by VCCF, the Port of Hueneme Harbor Commission, City of Oxnard’s come back grant, the Inlakech Cultural Arts Center/Lucha among other sponsors.
