Nearly 200 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Ventura County since Tuesday, August 10, with 121 people hospitalized and 25 of them in the ICU. 

No additional deaths gave been reported.

66 percent of the county’s population ages 12 and older has been fully vaccinated, and 76.3 percent has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

There has been a total of 85,858 coronavirus cases in Ventura County – this includes active, recovered and death cases. The Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are currently being offered at multiple county public health clinics where no appointment is needed.
