The Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors recently installed new officers and board members virtually this year in an event called From Surviving to Thriving, referring to the ups and downs in area real estate during the pandemic. In addition, the association also named its Realtor of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, and Broker/Owner/Office Manager of the Year.
Installed as 2021 President was Sher Heard, the co-owner of Comfort Real Estate in Ventura. The other officers for this year are President-elect Ashley Anderson, an agent with Keller Williams West Ventura County in Oxnard; First Vice President Juliet Esquibias, an agent with Coldwell Banker Realty in Oxnard; Treasurer Cami Pinsak, broker/owner of Realty ONE Group Summit in Ventura; and Immediate Past President Tim Comstock, an agent with Comstock & Calhoun Realty in Ventura.
This year’s board consists of Realtors Jeri Becker, Katie Connelly, Dawn Durazo, Rebeca Elliott, Bonny Goetz, Bridget Goncalves, Jim Keith, Troy Palmquist and Adela Trainor, along with Affiliate Director Joey Siddens and Non-Realtor Director Jennifer Felton.
Named 2020 Realtor of the Year was Adela Trainor, an agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties in Ventura. Selected as Broker/Owner/Office Manager of the Year was Jana Scarborough, a founding partner of Resource Real Estate in Ventura, while the Affiliate of the Year was Isabel Mislinay, a loan officer with Edge Home Finance.
