On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Detectives from the Oxnard Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Special Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) completed a narcotics investigation regarding Tyryn Champagne, 26-year-old Oxnard resident, selling Heroin and Methamphetamine to the residents of Oxnard.
Detectives conducted a search warrant at Champagne’s residence and located a Methamphetamine, Heroin, Xanax, US Currency and packaging material consistent with street sales of narcotics. Detective’s also located a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol on a table in the residence and a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in the living room closet. Champagne was charged with possession for sale of Methamphetamine, possession for sale of Xanax, and several firearms violations, all felonies. She was booked into Ventura County Jail with a bail request of $350,000.
