On Sunday, November 8, 2020, at approximately 8:02 pm, officers from the Port Hueneme Police Department responded to the area of Carl’s Jr. restaurant located at 717 W. Channel Islands Blvd., in regards to a shooting that took place. It was reported that one victim was injured in the front of the business.
When officers arrived, they discovered a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the front parking lot of the business. There were citizens attempting to render aid to the victim.
The Oxnard Fire Department along with Gold Coast Ambulance arrived on scene and began treating the victim. The victim was conscious and transported to a local hospital. The Police Department is currently investigating this incident and is asking for the public’s help.
