There are 110 new cases today (12 (10.9%) of which have a lab collection from September 16th or earlier), 1,104 additional people tested, and 0 additional deaths. Total, we have 146 deaths age range 25-107 years; 87 males and 59 females.
Ventura County is currently in the purple tier which they State has designated as widespread transmission as of September 22nd. The current data published as of September 22nd is 7.4 (purple tier) for the case rate and 3.8% (orange tier) for the positivity rate for the measurement period ending September 12; this will keep Ventura County in the purple tier until the next State measurement which will be on September 29. 

The State reviews the data once per week.

Orange: third highest-risk tier Positivity rate 2-4.9% and case rate of 1-3.9 new cases per 100,000

Yellow: Lowest risk tier Positivity rate less than 2% and case rate of less than 1 new case per 100,000
