Oxnard Mayor Pro Tem Carmen Ramirez, Esq. announces she has gained the endorsement of leading essential worker unions. Carmen has gained the endorsement of Oxnard Firefighters, California Nurses Association, United Food of Commercial Workers 770, and the United Farm Workers of America in her run for Ventura County Supervisor.

Today, I am inspired that in the midst of the COVID crisis those on the frontlines have put their trust in me. With thousands jobless and the health of our people and economy at risk, these workers know I will place their well being at the center of my work for our recovery and our future. This is not a time to be satisfied with the status quo. As supervisor I will respond to our community needs and be unafraid to take bold action to protect our community as we recover. As
