Community Liaison Church helping the community of El Rio

On Monday May 4th, the Community Liaison Church served well over 250 families as they gave away an estimated 200 grocery bags, over 150 bags of clothes, dozens of pairs of shoes, and tons of toys. The community was truly served, and it was such a humbling experience being able to bless those in need and less fortunate.

In addition to these resources, they were able to connect with individuals and families on a personal level and also provide information for the church and the support they offer. The ministerial staff also provided a prayer tent for those individuals and families who had prayer requests or urgent needs.  [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”12″ gal_title=”Church Helping Community”]

And considering that this month is mental awareness month, they offered a variety of promotional materials and gifts to promote mental health in partnership with a remarkable organization called “Sana Mente every mind matters directed by Emily Blender.

The event could not have been made possible without the support and continuous donations from Food ShareFriends of Field Workers, and many agencies, organizations, and individuals that contributed to the efforts.

The church will host these community relief events every 1st Monday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

If you know of a family or individual that can truly benefit from this blessing, please share this information and details with them.
